EuroPACE

European adaptation of the US model PACE, a financing mechanism that improves the population's access to energy rehabilitation measures of buildings. EuroPACE is being promoted by a public-private consortium under the framework of the Horizon 2020 project of the European Union.

The first European pilot project will take place in the Catalan city of Olot, and the role of UpSocial is to analyze whether the model is a tool to fight against two of the major social problems that plague the continent: energy poverty and unemployment of particularly vulnerable groups.
